Here are several examples of my art.
This first drawing is of actress Karen Allen. I needed a good subject for a carbon pencil drawing. I found Karen’s photo in a magazine and was fascinated by her distant stare. Jackson Browne’s Late for the Sky album played in the background throughout much of the eight weeks it took to complete.
I was inspired to draw this old river fisherman after thumbing through an outdoor travel brochure.
I used some alluring feminine lines to create this drawing. While on display at an exhibit several men commented, “I don’t know what it is about this one, but I like it.”
Having only worked in black and white, these crappie found in a fishing magizine were one of my first attempts at colored pencil.
